Oxygen Sensor Relay: Testing and Inspection

1GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: A/F SENSOR HEATER RELAY: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR HEATER RELAY

(a) Remove the upper relay block cover.





(b) Remove the air fuel ratio sensor heater relay.

2. INSPECT AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR HEATER RELAY





(a) Check the resistance.

(1) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the air fuel ratio sensor heater relay.

3. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR HEATER RELAY

(a) Install the air fuel ratio sensor heater relay.

(b) Install the upper relay block cover.
