B1508 - Short in Turn Signal / Hazard Flasher Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the combination meter sub-assembly detects an open in a turn signal light circuit, a short in a turn signal light circuit, or a short in the hazard warning light circuit.

1. INSPECT LIGHTS

(a) Inspect the illumination of each turn signal light.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER SUB-ASSEMBLY - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)

(a) Disconnect the L125 combination meter sub-assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the 2A instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Disconnect the C3*1 or C5*2 front turn signal light connector.

*1: for LH

*2: for RH

(b) Disconnect the 2C instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Disconnect the R17*1 or S18*2 rear turn signal light connector.

(b) Disconnect the 2D instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(b) Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
