APPLICABILITY:

INTRODUCTION:

Some 2012 MY Prius V vehicles may exhibit an abnormal noise described as grinding, groaning, creaking, or ticking type noise coming from the roof sunshade while opening or closing. Follow the procedures outlined in this bulletin to address this condition.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. Follow the procedures outlined in the repair manual for proper removal and installation of the roof sunshade assembly.

2. Operate the roof sunshade to confirm noise has been eliminated.
