Removal

2AR-FE ENGINE MECHANICAL: DRIVE BELT: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 9 clips and radiator support opening cover.





2. DISCONNECT RADIATOR RESERVOIR

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the radiator reservoir.





3. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

(a) Remove the 4 clips and rear engine under cover.





4. REMOVE FAN & GENERATOR V BELT

(a) Attach a wrench to the hexagonal portion of the belt tensioner as shown in the illustration, rotate the belt tensioner clockwise, and remove the V belt.
