2AR-FE CHARGING: GENERATOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

3. REMOVE FAN & GENERATOR V BELT

(a) Remove the belt Removal.

4. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET





(a) Detach the wire harness clamp from the clamp bracket.

(b) Remove the bolt and clamp bracket.

5. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the generator connector.





(b) Remove the terminal cap.

(c) Remove the nut and disconnect the generator wire.

(d) Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

(e) Remove the 2 bolts and generator.
