DESCRIPTION

The navigation receiver assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch and information about the GPS antenna, and then adjusts the vehicle position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY





(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY- PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

OK -- REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY- PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the E82 navigation receiver assembly connector.





(b) Disconnect the B26 park/neutral position switch.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH

(a) Disconnect the B26 switch connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





Result





B -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH

C -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH Removal

D -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH

E -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH

A -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Problem Symptoms Table
