Installation





2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR NO.2 (for Bank 1 Sensor 1)

(a) Using SST, install the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold RH.

SST : 09224-00010

without SST - Torque : 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

with SST - Torque : 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

HINT
* The "with SST" torque value is effective when using SST with a fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.).
* The "with SST" torque value is effective when using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.) Service Precautions.
* The torque value is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.

4. INSTALL MANIFOLD STAY Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for 2WD) Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for AWD) Installation

7. INSTALL NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET Installation

8. INSTALL PROPELLER WITH CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

Installation

9. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for AWD) Installation

10. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Installation

11. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1)

(a) Using SST, install the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold LH.

(b) Connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

(c) Engage the 3 wire harness clamps.
