Applicability

Introduction

After initial start-up in cold weather conditions the front windshield defroster pattern may not meet customer expectations. An updated A/C amplifier is available that improves the front windshield defroster pattern.

Production Change Information

This bulletin applies to the following vehicles:

^ ALL 2011 - 2012 MY Sienna vehicles.





^ 2013 MY Sienna vehicles equipped with Auto A/C produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.

^ This bulletin does NOT apply to 2013 MY Sienna vehicles equipped with Manual A/C.

Repair Procedure

1. Remove the A/C amplifier.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

^ 2011 / 2012 / 2013 Sienna:
Vehicle Interior - Heating/Air Conditioning - "Heating/Air Conditioning: Air Conditioning Amplifier: Removal"

2. Install the updated A/C amplifier.

3. Confirm proper HVAC system operation.
