Reassembly

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: FRONT AIR CONDITIONING UNIT: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL ASPIRATOR (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the aspirator pipe.

2. INSTALL ASPIRATOR (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

(a) Engage the 2 claws and clamp to install the aspirator pipe.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER THERMISTOR Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

HINT
If a new cooler evaporator is installed, add compressor oil to the cooler evaporator as follows.

Capacity:

Add 40 cc (1.35 fl. oz.)

Compressor oil:

ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

(a) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the No. 1 cooler evaporator.

Compressor oil:

ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

(b) Install the 2 O-rings to the No. 1 cooler evaporator.

NOTICE:
Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces clean from dirt or any foreign objects.

(c) Engage the clamp and install the No. 1 cooler evaporator with the cooler thermistor.

HINT
Completely cover the tube with the grommet.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 2 air conditioning radiator damper servo with the 3 screws.

6. INSTALL COOLER EXPANSION VALVE

(a) Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, install the cooler expansion valve with the 2 hexagon bolts.

Torque : 3.5 Nm (36 kgf-cm, 31 in-lbf)

7. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the 6 screws and air conditioning radiator assembly to the blower assembly with the evaporator sub-assembly.

8. INSTALL PTC HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ PTC Heater)

(a) Install the PTC heater with the 2 screws.

(b) Engage the 3 guides and install the cover plate with the screw.

9. INSTALL NO. 4 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY Reassembly

10. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS

(a) Engage the 6 clamps and install the air conditioning harness.

(b) Connect the 5 connectors.

11. INSTALL HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the heater radiator unit into the air conditioning radiator.

(b) Install the piping clamp with the screw.

12. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Using the reference point, install the No. 1 air conditioning radiator damper servo with the 2 screws.

13. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the No. 2 air duct.

14. INSTALL DEFROSTER LOWER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the defroster lower nozzle.
