INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HEADPHONE TERMINAL

(a) Disconnect the S1 headphone terminal RH connector.





(b) Disconnect the O1 headphone terminal LH connector.

(c) Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions, as shown in the chart below.

C -- REPLACE HEADPHONE TERMINAL LH Removal

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY - HEADPHONE TERMINAL)

(a) Disconnect the U2 television display assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the S1 or O1 headphone terminal connector(s).

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
