Power Back Door System
DOOR / HATCH: POWER BACK DOOR SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU
1. CHECK POWER BACK DOOR ECU (POWER BACK DOOR MOTOR UNIT)
(a) Disconnect the K14 power back door ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the K14 power back door ECU connector.
(d) Initialize the power back door system Initialization.
(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, the power back door ECU may have a malfunction.
2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU AND INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the D13, D14 and main body ECU.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the D13, D14 and main body ECU.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU may have a malfunction.
3. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the D88 certification ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the D88 certification ECU connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, the certification ECU may have a malfunction.
