INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT
If an outlet of the air conditioning system is facing the microphone, noise may be recorded and other caller may not be able to hear your voice properly.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CELLULAR PHONE

(a) Check if the other caller can hear your voice properly.

OK:

Your voice can be heard properly.

HINT
The purpose of this step is to inspect the cellular phone when it is not connected to the vehicle.

NG -- REPLACE CELLULAR PHONE
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK SETTINGS

(a) Display the screen on the telephone.

(b) Check that the "Mute Call" switch is not set to on.





OK:

"Mute Call" switch is not set to on.

NG -- TURN "Mute Call" SWITCH OFF
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK MICROPHONE LEVEL (OPERATION CHECK)

(a) Enter the "Microphone Level Test" screen. Refer to Check Microphone Level in Operation Check Operation Check.





(b) When voice is input into the microphone, check that the microphone input level meter changes according to the input voice.

OK:

Check result is normal.
