INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. CHECK SPEAKER

(a) Check the malfunctioning speakers.

(a) Check the malfunctioning speakers.

3. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the S19 and S20 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the R1 radio receiver assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the S19 and S20 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Problem Symptoms Table

5. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the S15 and S16 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the S19 and S20 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

(b) Disconnect the S15 and S16 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

7. CHECK REAR SIDE SPEAKER

(a) Check the malfunctioning speakers.

8. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the S17 and S18 rear speaker assembly connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the R2 radio receiver assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the S17 and S18 rear speaker assembly connectors.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Problem Symptoms Table

10. INSPECT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX

(a) Disconnect the S30 No. 1 speaker assembly with box connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

11. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX)

(a) Disconnect the R2 radio receiver assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the S30 No. 1 speaker assembly with box connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Problem Symptoms Table

12. INSPECT ROOF SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the R12 and R13 roof speaker assembly connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

13. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - RADIO SETTING CONDENSER)

(a) Disconnect the R2 radio receiver assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the R11 radio setting condenser connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

14. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO SETTING CONDENSER - ROOF SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the R11 radio setting condenser connector.

(b) Disconnect the R13 and R12 roof speaker assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

15. REPLACE RADIO SETTING CONDENSER

(a) Replace the radio setting condenser with a new or normal.

OK:

Sound is heard from the roof speakers.
