1GR-FE LUBRICATION: ENGINE OIL COOLER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

(a) Clean the oil cooler contact surface on the cooler mounting.

(b) Install a new O-ring onto the oil cooler.

(c) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the threads of the union bolt.

(d) Install the oil cooler and plate washer with the union bolt.





Torque : 68 Nm (693 kgf-cm, 50 ft-lbf)

(e) Connect the 2 oil cooler hoses to the oil cooler.

2. INSTALL OIL FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

4. ADD ENGINE OIL Installation

5. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL

6. CHECK FOR ENGINE OIL LEAKAGE

7. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE Service and Repair

8. INSTALL V-BANK COVER Installation
