- Front Passenger Side Power Window does not Operate with Front Passenger Side Power Window Switch
DESCRIPTION
If the front passenger side manual UP / DOWN function does not operate, a malfunction may exist in the power window regulator motor assembly RH (front passenger side), power window regulator switch assembly (front passenger side), power window regulator master switch assembly or wire harness.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FRONT PASSENGER SIDE)
(a) Remove the power window regulator switch assembly RH (front passenger side).
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FRONT PASSENGER SIDE)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (FRONT PASSENGER SIDE)
(a) Remove the Power Window Regulator Motor Assembly RH (front passenger side).
(b) Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
(c) Check that the motor smoothly rotates.
NOTICE:
Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.
OK:

NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (FRONT PASSENGER SIDE)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY - P/W RELAY)
(a) Disconnect the P14 power window regulator switch assembly (front passenger side) connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the P14 power window regulator switch assembly (front passenger side) connector.
(b) Disconnect the P11 power window regulator motor assembly RH (front passenger side) connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the P14 power window regulator switch assembly (front passenger side) connector.
(b) Disconnect the P9*1 or P18*2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
*1: for Double Cab
*2: for Access Cab
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for Double Cab
for Access Cab
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
