DESCRIPTION

If none of the door windows operate, there may be a failure in the supply of power to the power window regulator master switch assembly, or the power window regulator master switch assembly itself may be malfunctioning.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT P/W RELAY

(a) Remove the P/W relay from the driver side junction block assembly.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE P/W RELAY
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the 1A and 1H driver side junction block assembly connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the 1H driver side junction block assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the P9*1 or P18*2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

*1: for Double Cab

*2: for Access Cab

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

for Double Cab

for Access Cab

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the P9*1 or P18*2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

*1: for Double Cab

*2: for Access Cab

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

for Double Cab

for Access Cab
