- Driver Side Power Window Auto Down Function does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

* If the AUTO DOWN function does not operate, the cause may be one or more of the following:

* The master switch has a malfunction.

* The driver side motor has a malfunction.

* The wiring between the master switch and the driver side motor is open or shorted.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION

(a) Check that the manual UP/DOWN function of the master switch can operate the driver door power window.

OK:

Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.

NG -- OTHER PROBLEM Driver Side Power Window does not Operate with Power Window Master Switch (from 08/2011)

OK -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal (from 08/2011)
