POWER ASSIST SYSTEMS: POWER STEERING ECU (for Sedan): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU

(a) Install the power steering ECU with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 4 connectors.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the wire harness of the steering column assembly is installed onto the power steering ECU bracket and that it is not pulled too tightly.

3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH Installation

8. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Installation

9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL NO.1 Installation

10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Installation

11. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Installation

12. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER Installation

13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

14. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

15. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
