All Volkswagen engines are factory filled with a high grade SAE 15W-40 oil. Special "break-in oil is no longer in use.

NOTE

If oil must be added between oil changes or climatic conditions require a different viscosity oil

^ Replace in accordance with Owner's Manual specifications.

^ Use only a high grade / high quality SAE oil which conforms to the standards of the American Petroleum Institute (API)

CAUTION
Oil additives are not approved for use in Volkswagen vehicles. VWoA will not reimburse warranty claims relating to engine damage caused by the use of such additives.
