Cylinder Block Assembly: Testing and Inspection

Cylinder Bore, Checking

Measure at three points in cross direction A and logitudinal direction B

Use inside micrometer (50-100 mm)

Maximum deviation from mominal dimension
- 0.06 mm

Note: Do not measure cylinder bore when cylinder block is mounted to work bench with engine mount VW 540 as possible measuring discrepancies may develope due to cylinder block distortion.
