SUBJECT : FLUKE 83 DIGITAL MULTIMETER INTRODUCTION NO AUTOMATIC SHIPMENT - MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
We are pleased to announce the addition of the FLUKE 83 digital multimeter to the VWoA equipment program. The FLUKE 83 meter has been selected as the new minimum requirement replacing the US 1119 multimeter marketed by KENT-MOORE tool division. The US 1119 meter will still be considered an acceptable equivalent minimum requirement. Features not available on US 1119 such as 10 amp. max current measurement, frequency/duty cycle measurement, touch hold, are all available on the FLUKE 83.
The FLUKE 83 kit comes complete with two TL-24 flexible test leads and two TP22 Banana-Plug test probes. John Fluke Mfg. Co., Inc. (Fluke) warrants the 83 Multimeters to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 3 years from the date of purchase. optional accessories such as carrying case, current probes, etc. can also be purchased through the VWoA equipment program (see attached optional accessories order information). As of May 01, 1990 all dealers ordering a US 1119 have been shipped a FLUKE 83 and invoiced at the introductory price.
Special Introductory pricing for the FLUKE 83 digital multimeter is in effect until December 31,1990.
The FLUKE 83 can be ordered through your teleprocessor (X.P.) or by purchase order through your Zone/Distributor Service Department.
