- only install plates with linings marked as shown
- before installing, soak new plates in ATF for 15 minutes

- check that play (arrow) is between 0.5-0.9 mm (0.020-0.035 in.)
- otherwise, select new pressure plate from table

- assemble both forward clutch and direct! reverse clutch with thrust washers on oil pump
- blow compressed air into port (arrow)
- piston must compress clutch plates
- piston must release plates when compressed air is removed
