Sunroof panel height adjustment

Work sequence



- check adjustment at front and rear of lid as shown
- if necessary, realign
- check for leakage
Sunroof lip seal

Work sequence



A = 4.0 mm - 5.0 mm
- examine lip seal for proper installation
- if NOT as shown, refer to 86.01, Product Circular Group 60, February 18, 1986 for repair procedures
- check for leakage
Sunroof panel perimeter weatherstrip



- check fit of sunroof panel w/weatherstrip to roof opening
- if gap excessive, measure roof opening from front to rear (as shown)
- if opening greater than 400 +/- 0.5 mm (17.748 +/- 0.197 in) replace present weatherstrip with weatherstrip part 443 877 297B 01C
Sunroof drain tubes - front/rear



- check that drain tubes are open and free of obstructions
- repair or replace as required

Note

Following sunroof repairs run normal water hose pressure over sunroof to retest for leakage.
