Manuals through 2025 now available!

Our trusted friends have launched a new website named LEMON, which has newer manuals. It also contains all the CHARM manuals.

1. Remove sealing compound from potentiometer attachment screws.
2. Loosen screws so that they secure the potentiometer, but allow it to be adjusted.
3. Lift the sensor plate up so that it is even with the bottom edge of the venturi cone (use special tool VW 1348/1, or some other fixture that will allow the sensor plate to remain stationary while performing adjustment).
4. With test harness and engine harness connected, switch ignition ON.
5. Adjust potentiometer so that voltage reading shows 0.2 - 0.3 vdc, then tighten attachment screws.
6. With sensor plate lifted up to its' stop, voltage should be approx. 7 vdc.
7. Seal screws with paint or original type sealing compound.
