Engine Control Module: Description and Operation

The electronic control unit is designed to constantly adjust the air/fuel mixture based on the signal from the oxygen sensor and coolant temp. sensor. The ECU does this by varying the current to the differential pressure regulator, which alters the control pressure at the fuel distributor.
