Distributor Cap: Testing and Inspection

Distributor Cap And Static Shield:

1. Remove distributor cap and static shield, if equiped. Check for rough or pitted cap terminals, scrape or file off the carbon deposits if necessary.

Checking Distributor Cap:

2. Check the distributor cap for cracks, wear and damages. If necessary, clean or replace it.
3. Check static shield for damage, replace if needed.
4. Reconnect distributor cap and static shield.
