Condition





Digital clock in MFA display loses time (1 minute per day). The problem is caused by the digital clock counter not being properly synchronized.

Do not replace Instrument cluster circuit board assembly.

Note

This condition applies only to vehicles with VDO instrument clusters. These instrument clusters have VDO identification on speedometer.

Service





To synchronize digital counter and repair clock:

- Obtain radio security code

- Disconnect battery ground strap and wait at least 30 seconds

- Reconnect battery ground strap and set clock to correct local time.

- Activate radio using security code.
