Condition
Tire life depends on various factors, such as road surface, driving habits, climate and tire maintenance.
Uneven or substantial wear are indicators that tires may need to be balanced, aligned or replaced.
Service Solution
If the front tires show more wear than rear tires:
Rotate the front tires with the rear tires. See illustration A.
Tires that show unusual wear, such as feather-edging should be rotated diagonally. See illustration B.
Tire Maintenance
Tire pressure should be checked twice a month.
Always check tire pressure when tires are cold.
Cold tire inflation means: when the vehicle has been sitting for 3 hours or driven for less then 1 mile.
By doing this, all tires should have approximately the same service life.
