Volkswagen of America has developed a self-sealing plastic bag to hold a copy of the electronic parts tag. These bags are available through Literature Distribution, Literature Number W429971000. The bags come 100 to a package (order quantity 1) including wire ties.

Fold a copy of the completed Electronic Parts Tag to fit the plastic bag and wire tie the plastic bag to the part prior to shipping the part to the Warranty Parts Test Center. This procedure will ensure that parts tags are received in readable condition and expedite the handling of your part return claim.
