Vehicle Speed Sensor: Description and Operation
Vehicle Speed Sensor:
The
vehicle speed sensor is located in the instrument cluster. The sensor is a Hall type switch which generates a signal for the CIS-E control unit. The CIS-E Motronic control unit uses the speed signal to calculate the appropriate correction value for idle speed stabilization.
