Vehicle Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Instrument Cluster Removal:

1. Disconnect the battery ground strap.
2. Remove the steering wheel.
3. Remove the instrument cluster retaining screws.
4. Carefully pull the instrument cluster out and disconnect the electrical connectors.

Vehicle Speed Sensor:

5. Lift out the instrument cluster.
6. Remove the contact plate mounting screws and carefully slide out the vehicle speed sensor.
7. Reinstall in reverse manner.
