Ignition Coil: Specifications

COIL WIRE
Wire (complete) resistance 1600 - 2400 ohms
Wire (only) resistance approx. 0 ohm
Cap connector resistance 800 - 1200 ohms
Coil connector resistance 800 - 1200 ohms

IGNITION COIL
Resistance between terminals 1 (-) and 15 (+) 0.6 - 0.8 ohms
Resistance between terminals 4 (center) and 15 (+) 6500 - 8500 ohms

IGNITION TIMING
Checking (at idle 800 ± 100 RPM) 4° - 8° BTDC
Adjust to (at idle 800 ± 100 RPM) 5° - 7° BTDC

PLUG WIRES
Wire (complete) resistance 4800 - 7200 ohms
Wire (only) resistance approx. 0 ohm
Cap connector resistance 800 - 1200 ohms
Plug connector resistance 4000 - 6000 ohms

ROTOR
Resistance 860 - 1260 ohms
