Column Tube Assembly: Height-Adjustable






Note:
The height adjustable steering column cannot be disassembled.
Replace the steering column as a unit if the column, column tube or universal joint is damaged

1. Washer
2. Shear bolt

3. Nut, self-locking
For lock plate

4. Lock plate
5. Bushing

6. Bolt, self-locking, with left-hand thread -
22 Nm (16 ft lb)
Tighten with lever on upper stop, then install lock plate

7. Column tube
8. Support bracket

9. Adjustment lever
With internal thread

10. Rubber stop

11. Return springs
Installed on mount and column tube

12. Mount
Before installing apply MoS paste to sliding surfaces
