Ignition Rotor: Service and Repair

The rotor is glued to the shaft.

- If the rotor has to be replaced.

- Remove it by destroying it with a pair of pliers.

- Carefully remove any adhesive residue from the shaft and glue on the new rotor using adhesive AMV 185 100 01 or equivalent.

CAUTION: Do NOT hit the rotor, there Is danger of damaging the rotor shaft or bearing.
