Read Measuring Value Blocks (Function 08)

Measuring value block, reading (function 08)

- Connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST) with adapter harness. Connecting VAG 1551 Scan Tool
- Depending on function desired
- Switch ignition ON or
- Start engine.

Operate VAG 1551 Scan Tool according to display:
- Press button -1- for "Rapid data transfer" operating mode.
- Press PRINT button (indicator lamp in button lights up).
- Press buttons -0- and -1- to enter address word 01 for "Engine Electronics".
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.
- Press => button.

- Press buttons -0- and -8- to select the "Read Measuring Value Block" function.
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.
- Indicated on display

Note: If anything else appears in the display refer to selecting function. Connecting and Selecting Function

- Select display group number from table below.
Example: press buttons -0- and -1- to select display group 01.
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.
