Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters
Because of the large number of operating parameters monitored and the vast quantity of data available, all fault diagnosis must be conducted with the VAG 1551 or VAG 1552 diagnostic tester (VW special tool), or a suitable equivalent scan tool. Therefore, VW does not provide diagnostic procedures for individual ECM pinout tests. Please see Computers and Controls / Testing and Inspection Procedures to complete your diagnosis.
