Charging System: Service Precautions

Engine Drive Belts:
- DO NOT adjust a belt and pulley assembly that is equipped with a belt tensioner, as the belt is kept in the proper adjustment automatically.
- Before removing and installing a belt, mark its running direction for later reference. Reversed running direction on installation can lead to belt damage.
- Always replace a damaged belt, to avoid breakage or malfunction.
