Sunroof / Moonroof Drain: Description and Operation

Drain hoses connected at the four corners of the sunroof channel water through the roof and down along the window pillars. The front drain hoses run down the windshield A- pillars and exit behind the front wheelhouse liner as shown:

- Front sunroof drain hoses 1 exit behind wheelhouse through sleeve 2.





The rear drain hoses run down the rear window "D" pillars and exit on the side of the body near the ventilation outlet and behind the rear bumper:

- Rear sunroof drain hoses 1 exit through sleeve 2 near ventilation outlet 3.

Cleaning the drain hoses requires a flexible cable about 90 inches long, such as the core of an old speedometer drive cable. To clean the front drains, push the cable through from top to bottom. For rear drains, push the cable through from the bottom.
