Gear lever, servicing

Note:

- Lubricate all mountings and sliding surfaces with Polyurea grease Part No. G 052 142 A2.






1 - Gate selector cable
- On gate selector bracket
2 - Gear selector cable
- On gear lever
3 - Hex bolt, 15 Nm
- For fulcrum pin to mounting plate
4 - Fulcrum pin
5 - Mounting plate
6 - Hex nut, 20 Nm
- For mounting plate to gear lever housing
- Self-locking
- Always replace
7 - Cap
- Assembly
8 - Bushing
- Only install in one position
9 - Gate selector housing
- Install into mounting plate after installing complete gear lever
10 - Bushing
11 - Spring
12 - Guide bushing
- Locate on bushing (item 15)
13 - Lock washer
- Removing
14 - Bushing
- Only install in one position
15 - Gate angle piece
16 - Spring clip
17 - Circup
- Removing and installing
18 - Spacer sleeve
19 - Spring
20 - Gear lever
- With selector cable guide and damper washer
21 - Shock absorber
- Installation position: pins (arrow) face toward gear selector lever guide.

- Press from side (arrow).
- Press opening together to form a slot.


Note:

- If necessary heat cap (e.g. hot water).

- To remove and install cirdip pull gear lever in arrow direction -A- and at same time push down spacer bushing onto stop with a screwdriver in arrow direction -B-.

Note:

- Do not bend the spacer sleeve when pressing down.
- Mounting slot in gear lever for cirdip must be visible.
- Carefully relieve tension on spring.

- Lift tab in direction of arrow.
