Boost Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

Special tools and equipment
- Hand multimeter V.A.G 1526 or multimeter V.A.G 1715
- Adapter set V.A.G 1594

Test conditions
- Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) carried out.

Test sequence
- Switch ignition off.







- Pull off charge pressure control solenoid valve (N75) - 1 - connector - 2 -.







- Measure resistance between valve contacts.
- Specification: 25 - 35 ohms

If the specification is not obtained:
- Replace charge pressure control solenoid valve (N75).
- Check DTC memory.
- Read out readiness code.

If the specification is obtained:
- Check specified values in the measuring value blocks for boost pressure regulator:
- Display groups 114 - 118
