ATF Lines Removing and Installing




ATF lines, removing and installing





1. Bolt
^ 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
^ Before tightening bolt, push line onto stop by hand
2. O-ring
^ Insert with ATF
^ Always replace
3. Bolt
^ 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
^ Before tightening bolt, push line onto stop by hand
4. O-ring
^ Apply ATF before installing
^ Always replace
5. Union nut
^ 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
6. Bracket
7. Bracket
^ On engine/transmission support
8. Bolt
9. Nut
^ 5 Nm 44 inch lbs.)
10. Clamp


ATF lines and cooler, cleaning
If there is dirt in the ATF: blow through the ATF cooler and lines with compressed air, not more than 10 bar (145 psi), before installing transmission.

WARNING: Wear protective goggles.





- Remove bolt-2-.
- Remove ATF lines from transmission.
- Connect a hose to ATF line -A- and secure with a hose clamp. Hang other end of hose in a drain pan.





- Blow through ATF line -B- with compressed air.
- Change hose from ATF line -A- over to ATF line -B- and repeat sequence.
- Secure ATF lines again.
- Check and top up ATF level.
