Downshift Switch: Service and Repair

Kick down switch -F8-
- Location, gas engines: Kick down switch (arrow) is integrated into the accelerator cable and is located on the bulkhead in the engine compartment.
- Location, Diesel engines: Integrated in throttle position sensor -G79-.

Removing and installing kick down switch
- Remove accelerator cable, remove and install kick down switch, then reinstall cable and adjust.
