Measured Value Block, Reading

Special tools and equipment
- Scan Tool (ST) VAG 1551 / VAG 1552 with cable VAG 1551/3

Test conditions
- All electrical accessories like e.g. rear window defog must be switched off.
- If equipped, A/C must be switched off.
- With an automatic transmission selector lever must be in P or N.
- There may be no DTC's in memory.
- Coolant temperature must be at least 80 degree C, display group 01, display zone 4.

Work sequence
- With engine at idle connect Scan Tool (ST) VAG 1551 / VAG 1552 and select Engine Control Module (ECM) with "Address word" 01. VAG 1551 Scan Tool, connecting. Connecting VAS 5051 Scan Tool

Select function XX

- Press buttons -0- and -8- for "Read Measured value block" and confirm with -Q- button.

Indicated on display:

Read measured value block
Enter display group number XXX

NOTE: The display group number -001- is an example, to illustrate sequence.
- Press keys -0-, -0- and -1- for "Display group number -1-" and confirm entry with -Q- key.

Indicated on display: (1...4 Display zones)

- Press -> button.
