Seating Area, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove Recaro seat.
- Remove seat cushion extension.
- Remove trim, backrest mounting bracket.
- Remove spring cover.







- Detach electrical cover - 2 - under seat.
- If installed, disconnect corresponding wiring harness for seat heater and/or seat occupied sensor.
- Fold up front of seat cushion - 1 -.
- Remove seat cushion forward and out.

NOTE: When removing seat cushion, two springs - 4 - and two rubber buffers - 3 - will fall out in area of backrest.

Installing







- Place rubber buffers - 3 - and springs - 4 - in appropriate mounts.
- Guide electrical cover - 2 - through backrest and seat frame.
- Place seat cushion - 1 - so that springs - 4 - are located on rubber buffers - 3 -.
- Push seat cushion toward rear.
- Push seat cushion down in front area.
- If installed, connect wiring harnesses for seat heater and/or seat occupied sensor.
- Attach electrical cover - 2 - under seat.
