3B0907551G 2.8 Liter V6/5V G AT D05 ->
Coding 07551 WSC 00000

- 3B0 907 551G Part No. of control module (for current control module version, see parts catalog)
- 2.8 l Engine displacement
- V6/5V Construction style of engine (V engine, 6 cylinder, 5 valves)
- G Cruise control system activated
- HS = Manual transmission (AT = Automatic Transmission)
- V01 = program version number
- Coding XXXXX = coding of control module, coding version of Engine Control Module (ECM). Programming Control Module (ECM) -J248-, (Function 07)
- WSC XXXXX = Factory identification from V.A.G1551, with which the last coding was performed (if factory coding has not been changed, WSC 00000 will be displayed)

NOTE: If the control module version that is appropriate for this vehicle is not indicated, replace the control module.

An incorrect coding of the Engine Control Module (ECM) causes:
- Driveability problems (shifting pressure, tip-in shock etc.)
- increased fuel consumption
- increased emissions values
- The storage of non-existent malfunctions in DTC memory
- Necessary functions not being performed (oxygen sensor regulation, activation of the EVAP canister system, etc.)
- Reduction in transmission service life

If coding differs from vehicle version:
- Check control module coding, Code Engine Control Module Programming Control Module (ECM) -J248-, (Function 07)
- Press -> button.
