Combination valve, removing and installing

Removing

Note:

- In the continuing work procedure the battery Ground (GND) strap must be disconnected. Therefore, determine whether a coded radio is installed. If necessary, determine anti-theft coding first.

- Remove cover at left above the battery.
- Switch ignition off and disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.






- Remove engine cover -1-. To do so, remove 3 bolts (arrows).
- Disconnect pressure hose -2- at combination valve -1-.
- Disconnect vacuum hose at combination valve -1-.






- Remove bolts (arrows) at connecting piece -3- of combination valve -1-.

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Note:

- Replace seal between combination valve and connection piece.

- If DTC memory was erased, readiness code must be regenerated
