Sliding Window, Retrofitting

NOTE:
- In some versions, sliding windows can be installed instead of flush-bonded windows in the sliding door, side panel of transporter and/or double cab, and side door of double cab
- The installation description is given for only one side. Directions for other side are mirror image
- Depending on equipment, remove trim and seats or seat benches.

- Remove flush bonded window.
- Cut back remainder of adhesive sealing material.

Transferring appropriate measurements to window molding and setting corner points:
Sliding door
Side panel.
Side door (double cab)
Side panel (double cab).

- Drill holes 7.5 mm dia (0.30 in.) and deburr.
- If necessary, rework holes with a round file to fit the sliding window.

NOTE: Refer to EuroVan Body Collision Repair Manual for paint repair and corrosion protection.

- After completion of the painting/corrosion protection, install sliding window.
