Transmission gear oil, checking

Special tools and equipment





^ VAG1331 Torque wrench or equivalent





^ Remove plug (arrow) to check oil
Oil level is correct when transmission is full to lower edge of filler hole.
^ Install new plug (arrow).
^ Tighten plug to prescribed torque.

When filling with new oil note following:





^ Remove plug (arrow).
^ Top off oil to lower edge of filler hole.
^ Install plug (arrow).
^ Tighten plug to prescribed torque.
