1 - Lock cylinder carrier
- Removing:
- Disconnect harness connectors for license plate light, positioning motor for central locking system and switch on lock cylinder.
- Unclip Bowden cable - 3 - from lock. then, Remove nuts - 2 -.
- Now, lock cylinder carrier can be removed from trunk lid.

- Installing:
- Installation is reverse of removal.

2 - Nut
- Qty 4
- 7 Nm

3 - Bowden cable
- From lock to motor to unlock trunk lid

4 - Nut
- Qty 2
- 7 Nm

5 - Lock
- Removing:
- Remove trim for trunk lid.
- Disconnect harness connector from lock.
- Unclip Bowden cable - 3 - and - 8 -, remove nuts - 4 - and remove lock from trunk lid.

6 - Pop rivet
- Pull in using Pop rivet tongs V.A.G 1765 A

7 - Actuator lever
- On lock

8 - Bowden cable
- From lock to emergency release lever.

9 - Securing clip
- Locked in plate.

10 - Motor to unlock rear lid V139
- Removing:
- Remove lock cylinder carrier - 1 -.
- Unbolt motor and remove.

11 - Actuator lever
- On lock cylinder carrier.
