1 - Oil pump/front sealing flange
^ Oil pump
^ Integrated into front sealing flange on engines with oil pump without chain drive
^ Driven by coupling plate on crankshaft
^ Only replace as complete unit
^ Sealing flange, front
^ On engines with oil pump with chain drive

2 - Spray jet valve, 40 Nm

3 - O-ring
^ Replace

4 - 43 Nm

5 - Idler roller

6 - 10 Nm

7 - 10 Nm

8 - Breather housing

9 - Seal/breather plate
^ Replace

10 - Oil check valve, 25 Nm

11 - Connecting piece

12 - 15 Nm

13 - Oil distributor line
^ For oil spray jets for piston cooling

14 - Cylinder block

15 - 10 Nm
^ Insert with locking fluid D 000 600 A2

16 - Oil spray jet
^ For piston cooling

17 - Seal
^ Metal gasket
^ Replace

18 - Engine oil temperature sensor -G8-, 10 Nm
^ Vehicles from 05.99
^ For oil temperature indicator
^ White
^ If sealing ring is leaking cut open and replace.

19 - Oil seal
^ For crankshaft - belt pulley side

20 - Tensioning element
^ Secure before removing

21 - 10 Nm
^ Insert with locking fluid D 000 600 A2

22 - O-ring
^ Replace if damaged

23 - Washer
